ACCELERATED FREEFALL - SKYDIVING CLASSES
So, you may have a few tandem jumps under your belt and you’re ready to take your experience to the next level? Skydive Taft’s Accelerated Freefall program is the perfect preparation for solo skydiving. While prior tandem experience is recommended, it is not mandatory if you are the ambitious type! We employ the most modern and efficient instructional techniques to ensure your success. You will receive four to six hours of ground school to prepare you for your first accelerated freefall skydive. You will then receive membership to the United States Parachute Association (USPA) prior to your first jump. Then, the magic moment. Accompanied by two instructors, you will jump from over two miles above the earth while wearing your own parachute system.
You’ll learn to skydive from the pros. After approximately one minute of freefall, you will deploy your own parachute and land while being coached by your instructor over the radio. This self-paced eight level program will give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to safely conduct solo skydiving.
